Full-Time Senior Accountant​
Redwoods Rural Health Center is seeking a Senior Accountant who possesses a deep understanding of accounting principles, a proven record of advising on business and tax matters, and a passion for excellence. In this role, you'll collaborate with our team, lead special projects and will be responsible for a company’s financial procedures, records and statements for compliance with laws and regulations.
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyzing complex financial reports and records

Overseeing billing and ensuring accuracy

Overseeing the vendors' payments and ensuring accuracy

Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations

Assisting with bank, financial, and tax audits

Documenting and monitoring internal controls

Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments

Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the CFO if necessary.

Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the CFO in running audits.

Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

Delegate financial responsibilities to the accounting team.

Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.

Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents.

Supporting month-end and year-end close

Preparing financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations

Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas

Collaborates closely with the Finance Director and/or CFO in the development of annual operational, capital, and federal budgets that support the organization’s long and short-range plans and objectives and reflects the board approved strategic plan.

Research and correct any out-of-balance situations between the GL and sub-ledger

Accounting Operations

Oversee the parcel billing, payments, and reconciliations

Review and approve AP payments

Review and release wire/ACH payments

Oversee Grants Receivables and related activities

Evaluate policies and procedures annually to ensure that they are relevant

Assists the Finance Director and/or CFO in identifying undesirable trends and potential business opportunities.

Complete special projects and reports, as requested by the Finance Director and/or CFO.

Identify and implement technology, automation, and outsourcing opportunities to drive efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS
-
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a similar major is required
-
Must have at least 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a healthcare setting

Full-Time Case Manager​
Redwoods Rural Health Center is seeking a full-time Case Manager to provide integrated, supportive and enabling services to individuals and families. Case Managers collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care and assist patients in accessing services and utilizing resources to support their medical, dental, behavioral health, and socioeconomic needs. Case Managers identify and address a variety of non-clinical social determinants of health (SDoH) to promote positive health outcomes and reduce health inequities. Case Managers are dedicated to serving marginalized or otherwise underserved populations with the lowest access to resources in our community. Populations of focus served by Case Managers include individuals and families who would benefit from enhanced care management and/or who are experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness; substance use disorder or mental health issues.

Full-Time Primary Care
Behavioral Health Director​
Redwoods Rural Health Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Primary Care Behavioral Health Director to help build and grow a successful FQHC Primary Care Behavioral Health program. PSYCHOLOGIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model by providing brief, evidence-based interventions (e.g., ACT, CBT) to support patient care

Collaborate closely with the primary care team, providing on-site consultations regarding psychiatric and psychosocial concerns

Lead efforts in recruitment, clinical training, workflow optimization, and team building to ensure an engaged, effective behavioral health team

Develop and sustain a comprehensive and accessible behavioral health program, working to improve access to care and streamline patient flow
-
Provide clinical supervision, both individually and in groups, to team members

Ensure compliance with clinical standards and best practices for documentation, billing, and quality of care

Respond to provider requests for consultation, warm hand-offs, and urgent needs

Foster partnerships with community-based organizations to support patient referrals and continuity of care

Lead crisis intervention efforts as needed and engage in ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness and patient outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS

Doctoral degree in Psychology (PsyD/PhD) preferred

Full-Time Chief Dental Officer (CDO)​
Redwoods Rural Health Center is seeking a Chief Dental Officer (CDO) who is a key member of the executive management team and functions as the leader of the oral health program at Redwoods Rural Health Center (RRHC). The CDO provides leadership on the provision of high-quality dental care services to the patients and families of the health center and ensures integration with all primary health activities. He/she serves as a role model for excellence in oral health services.

CHIEF DENTAL OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and direct the development, implementation, and monitoring of high-quality dental care services including creating a strong and high functioning oral health workforce.

Develops and implements necessary oral health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all programs, payers, and regulatory agencies.

Develops the annual budget for the oral health department in coordination with the Chief Financial Officer.

In collaboration with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors, oversees the credentialing and privileging process for all Dentists.

Leads the dental quality improvement activities and in collaboration with Compliance and Risk Management to ensure appropriate goals are set for all indicators.

Ensure all oral health services functions achieve expected clinical, productivity, and financial outcomes.

Implements contracts in collaboration with the CEO for Denti-Cal and other insurance programs.

Oversee the management of all oral health related services including: staffing and performance reviews, equipment and supply purchasing, patient appointment scheduling, referral and follow-up and patient satisfaction.

Participates in monthly Provider meeting to address new trends in clinical practice, changes in regulation/billing or local oral health programs and to ensure integration between the Primary Care providers and the Dental Providers.

Leads the Peer Review process and ensures all findings are reviewed with the staff.

Ensures the proper and timely documentation of dental health records for clinical work and accurate billing.

Provides direct patient care with dignity, respect and in a culturally competent manner

Maintains confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information.
QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an American Dental Association (ADA) approved dental school with DDS or DMD degree
